2019 Half-time Event

Our annual Half-time Event was held on Tuesday, July 16 at the University of Northwestern - Totino Fine Arts Center. Over the course of a little more than an hour, Paul McCready and Mitchell Wood discussed the frothiness of the markets, the trends that we have noticed, and some strategies for the future. Before this informational session started, we enjoyed a variety of meats and cheeses artfully arranged by the University of Northwestern catering department. Thank you to our clients and their guests for joining us!

Feed My Starving Children

Thursday, June 20 was a beautiful day to volunteer at Feed My Starving Children in Coon Rapids. Together with our esteemed clients, we helped pack over 28,500 meals which will be sent to children and families who are experiencing hunger in Haiti. After this fulfilling meal-packing session, we enjoyed getting to know our clients better over lunch at Key’s Café. If you have not volunteered with Feed My Starving Children yet, we hope you can join us next time!

Spring Gardening Education

On Wednesday, May 22, we held a gardening workshop at the locally-owned Lexington Floral and Boutique. Interest for this event was so high that we actually held three sessions so that everyone could attend! Local horticultural-guru, Tyler Stoehr-Good, showcased different perennials, plants and shrubs that fare well in our Minnesota climate, and shared planting tips, including when it is best to prune different varieties. We enjoyed discussing our gardens with our clients and their friends, while we snacked on treats from Taste of Scandinavia. Stay tuned for a potential garden tour event later in the summer!
